I'm tired of Comcast, can anyone tell me what options there are?

I have a full service bundle with them, voice, internet and TV with HD DVR and all the channels @ $199.00 per month...I can lease a new Altima for that.

Just use their internet cuz it's the fastest. I got direcTV because of Sunday ticket.

Funny you bring this up. I just ordered DirecTV on Tuesday (install on Sat) because Comcast is raping me for internet and TV as well. Usually they adjust it and work with you when you call to complain, but I tried a few times and they wouldn't budge. I have a hook up for Directv if you're interested - shoot me a PM. They partner up with At&T to give you internet and phone as well. I use magicjack for phone and pay $20/year. Love it!

Funny I "tried" to leave them and had to go back for internet. Internet is great, customer service sucks! I went with Dish since I had DirecTv in the past. I'm happy with Dish and my cable but I sure do wish someone would compete with Comcast on the cable internet.

Hey Mike, congrats on the new babies! I hate any satellite provider, but I have no choice. I've been clamoring for U-Verse to come, but they're taking their sweet time to offer it by me.

past year been paying, $20 comcast, iirc 21mpbs. dish $30 2 receiver. dont need fancy dvr etc. switch from godawful direct tv. never ever will be going with them again nor uverse etc. once dish contract is over, going to switch to all comcast. dont need home phone.

$34.99 or $30 satellite bill?? I wish! The dvr/hd access and multiple HD receivers really add up on a monthly basis, but it's oh so pretty on the big screen!

I just kicked comcast to the curb after 7 years of getting screwed. They were a monopoly in my neighborhood but recently ATT dropped fiber down the street from me. Now I have ATT UVerse. They have various options. You can get the elite internet for 19.99 for the year. Check it out.

I want uverse, but they haven't brought it in my neighborhood yet. (sucks, because the neighborhood 1/4 mile away has it).
Also found out yesterday that in order to set up the directv dish at my house, it would require extensive drilling in walls, cutting drywall, etc.... (townhome association makes it so hard to do stuff).
So I guess I'm stuck w/ Comcast!

Been at com comcast for 2 years after they increase my monthly bundle and then came AT&T with the best offer so far so I grab it then after the promotion period the price went up,received a good offer from comcast that I couldn't resist and I grab it. Well what I'm trying to express is try to negotiate first and if does not resolve the situation look for alternative,it's our money and we deserve what is best for us.

When I was building a addition to the house I had my electricians wire the house for cable and dish. Another thing you can do is call comcast and tell them you'll cancel and theyll lower your rate for another 12mo. Other than that good luck.
