Anthony's REVIVED RX350

So Anthony called me out again to take a look at his RX. It was pretty dirty but the paint was decent. Not too many scratches and swirls but there seemed to be a layer of oxidation on the paint causing it to look really dull. The interior was pretty clean for the most part except the mats and carpet. Not much could be done about the red slushy stains on the rear carpets but all the mats were thoroughly cleaned and I think they came out pretty good.

Wheels
P21S wheel gel on wheels
Megs APC 4:1 on tires
Z16 on tires

Prep
Dawn for stripping wax
Megs APC 4:1 for pretreating lower panels
Megs blue clay w/ ONR lube

Polish

M205 / LC white
IPA wipedowns

LSP

Trim
303 AP on all exterior plastic trim

Interior

Onto the pictures! White is a hard color to capture but I think the after reflections are much deeper and the paint seems more alive. Also the white pearl paint pops much more.

Looks great Jason, I always loved the tails on that gen RX. Wheels and lower body panels cleaned up nicely. You utilize some expensive items in your detailing endeavors and it proves to be beneficial. NO CLAY (lol)? Just kidding!!

Excellent work as usual, he really has to get that dent fixed before it's starts spreading that rust. Overall looks great considering how hard it's to show the before/after swirl removal on a white car.

Thanks. When I first started taking care of my car, I bought the GOOD stuff and I guess I had that leftover for my detailing bidnizz. Now, its a never ending battle to get the best product for the job.

I think I've spent $100 on the just wheel brushes!

BTW, you see that gas door picture? Yeah a LOT of the jambs were identical... yucky stuff.

I wish, My wife and son hate my new car so now the RX is the family car. This is her 2nd one and she will probably get the new RX when her lease is up later this year. Unless I can convince her the Panamera is a good family car :)
