Default RIDEMAKERZ (Build-A Bear Car Style) Woodfield Mall

Hey All,

I wanted to share a cool thing I found last week. Their is a store in Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg just like Build-A-Bear workshop that allows parties and different car club events aimed at a younger crowd. You basically ala carte a radio controlled car and build it up. I was happy to see this and it has been their for over a year. I guess it is a St. Louis based company and they have 13 stores across the US. Most expensive car that you can build is $140. basic is in $20's. Info is below.

Store Number G315
Tele: 847-413-1474

I took Brian to that store last year and he wasn't impressed. He said the 'cars don't look real'. Umm, ok, it's a fun place. I thought it was cool. So he ended up walking out.

Once you get past the Mini Cooper models and into the fun car shells, it's all good.

Just got back, It's pretty expensive $98 for one car but my son when nuts with the accessories. The lady told me the first time is most expensive, Its cool since you can go back and just by the shell and add it to what you have. After you build it you can go on their website and race it, It matches the one you built in the store also.

It's pretty cool. My fiancee built one for me for my birthday last year. She made me a pretty sweet Dodge Challenger.

Look's fun, but jeez $100 for a toy car seems steep...

I took my boys there and it was fun, but the R/C addition was expensive and very disappointing. Better without the R/C and just have a rolling car that looks cool for the little ones!

Complete rip off but I guess when you have kids, you tend to spoil them. Not looking forward to that day
