Confirmed - Only OBDII(1996) and newer vehicles do emissions in Illinois. And they're checking for I/M pass fail, but any Check Engine light will automatically fail you. I figured it takes about 20-30 minutes of driving before I can pass the I/M readiness test on my actron scanner
