Whew...thats was fun! My arms are aching but it was more than worth it.
I took video from my helmet cam. I'll have to edit the video to the proper time length that youtube will accept. I'll get to it sometime soon and post.
Next scheduled date to race there: July 11th!

1) goelise. Dates:3,12,19,26. I will race = the max number of races people want to do that night.
2) Luder94 I'm good for any day (if it's a weekday and I'm on client, I can't make it).
3) Neurocity (I don't care pick a date!!)
4) eyeconcur (the only SC430 here
)

There are guys as big as you who race in the leagues so I don't see a reason why you cannot race and you won't know if you'll fit in the kart until you try. Some of those karts' seats are larger than others. In short, there is no weight limit that i know of.
totally understand, I got a Nikon D300 DSLR recently. Camera gear can be pricey. If you can make it, come by - maybe you can take pics of us racing?!?!

Why does the NELOC regional area beat us in # of participants in a karting event?!

Nope, the next one is on JULY 11th. This Friday night.
Chicago Indoor Racing requires you to call in the morning OF the day you want to race. You cannot call days ahead and reserve. This is 'cause a lot of people will say they are going to go but do not for whatever reason and CIR has a business to run, they want to minimize empty karts for a race since its business lost.
So around 10:30AM this Friday I will call CIR and reserve the karts for that evening. At that point I will immediately put the times I can reserve in the first post of this thread the exact times. Usually I try to reserve the first race starting at 8PM that night if that slot is open. Keep in mind if your a first timer you should get there 35-40 minutes ahead so you can register, watch a 5 minute safety video and suit up for your first race.

Cancelling July 11th Friday night.
I am going to race this Thursday July 10th evening instead of Friday. A person I know at CIR warned me there is an event reserved for Friday night (they payed money up front) so this Arrive and Drive event (no money up front) I planned is canceled for this Friday, sorry its out of my hands.
