Fantastic work! Love the set-up... I have the Wiseco/Pauter combination in one of my 4-AGE engines; I am hopeful this will be a reliable combination with the T-28 and air/water intercooler.

I have to say... looking at that engine & trans bolted together...
it looks like it would fit in an AE86

A man after my own heart. I also have built a 4A-GE Silvertop with Pauter Rods, but J&E pistons. thats the reason I used Pauter again in this project.
I'm actually also building a Blacktop in an AE86 soon (After the Lexus is done)

Now as far as a 1UZ in the AE86, I think it fits better in the AE86 then it does in the SC, but The auto trans has some trouble this the tunnel, so the Getrag may also.

We started this project in late 2004
Sorry the pictures are so blurry

Bob... holy smokes! That's KILLER!
I'd love to also see the newer 1UZ in the AE86 (like the 300hp GS400 version).
I've also had visions of installing a mildly built (or turboed) 1UZ in a SuperFormance Cobra... would be a great set-up in a 2200 lb. car, I suspect it would be a couple hundred pounds lighter than a 427 c.i. side-oiler.

Here's what my Turbo 4AG is going into:

Love the MR2. The wheels look great!!
What 4A-GE are you running? red/blue top 16V Silver/Black 20V?

I haven't done anything with the SC lately guys. I had to go to Detroit for work, and got sick, so I've been sitting on the sofa.

ZE bottom with oil squirters, blue top ported with Ferrea valves, TRD valve springs, Steve Long Racing cams (custom turbo grind), TRD head gasket. Intake has been Etrude-Honed and has individual foggers for NOS, throttle body is bored, and the whole thing is run by a Haltec II. I have a stupid amount of money in this car...

Richie; not yet, witing for D2Racing coilovers to arrive so I can se the ride height; I need to do this before paint do we can stretch the fenders properly. The car sits artificially high now with no engine & trans.

I'm thinking about changing the color to Ferrari Tour deFrance Blue...

Can't wait to Bob's SC up & running again!

I like the blue idea, even though the original colour is still in great shape.

Back on topic now.

If you want to put a 1UZ in an AE86 I know of these two brothers that did it here in MD with the LS400 trans. It was in Super Street awhile back.

Hey Guys, haven't posted in a while, cause I really don't have anything to post about the car.
It's been busy being towed from place to place, with nothing actually being done to it.
One of these days.

Hey Guys well my Car finally made it back to the shop. Chris & I decided to do a couple things rather then just put the car back together the way it was.
I got a circle track aluminum Radiator from a Chevy, and modified it so that it fits under the radiator support. this makes is pretty much unseen, and opens up even more room up front for the turbos, and piping.
I'm also switching the front mount intercooler from the cross flow to 2 up flows which is supposed to be more efficient.
The power steering has been relocated so that we can make a symmetrical header on both sides giving the motor an equal look on both sides.
The car should be done fairly soon, and be out sometime this summer.
I'll try and take some photos over the next few days & post em.
