Question Any Lexus dealers offering FREE car washes and breakfast?

Are any Lexus dealers in the Chicago area offering complimentary washes and breakfast?

My local dealer, Bredemann Lexus in Glenview, offered meticulous complimentary car washes and a delicious gourmet buffet breakfast every Saturday morning, but all that has been stopped for more than a year now because they have been remodeling.

Now I'm left with a dirty car and empty stomach

I think McGraf might. Went there once on Saturday and it was more crowded than a shopping mall. Cars lined up for the car wash and people sitting outside eating.

McGrath lexus will only wash vehicles bought at their dealership. You can't even buy a wash. I'm not too happy with that dealership. I don't trust them.

I wash both of my cars all the time at McGrath, the Cressida and the ES 300. It kind of helps to have a hook up there!

How would they know this?

Looks like I'll need to pick up a McGrath license plate frame, huh?

I have no idea...I remember seeing a long line of cars outside last summer so I called them 2 weeks ago to see how much they charge for a car wash since i saw them to them before. The receptionist told me that they only wash Lexuses that are bought from that dealership.

I think Bredeman also washes cars bought from their dealership.

McGrath tells people that they only wash cars purchased from their dealership, but no one's really going to check VIN's just for a wash. I used to get my wash there but don't have the time now... an hour wait on Sat mornings....

Xenon,

I feel your pain. I bought my '02 RX from Bredemann in Nov of '01. I got spoiled with getting my car washed every week. Then no car washes for 2 years....only when I got my oil changed. Every time I call them, they say the new wash will be open in about two weeks. The date keeps getting pushed back further and further. I guess the good thing is that you can use the new cash wash 6 days a week. They are supposed to be mailing a flyer any day now to their customers explaining how the new system will work.

I miss the eggs and bagels on Saturday mornings.

That is SOOOO AWESOME!!!!!! Lexus dealers give free car washes and breakfasts to their customers on saturday mornings? That is just great...

Unfortunately, with no source of income and the nearest lexus dealer being 30-40 miles away, its not practical. I buy my own parts and have my work done by good, although cheap, no frills shops. When I get a good job this summer I'll probably start going to lexus dealers for maintainance just because it looks and feels so cool to go there. Free breakfast and car washes, boy are you guys taken care of or what?

Xenon,

Bredemann started the new car washes last week for their customers. I stopped in on Saturday morning. You have to register with the cashier in service. They'll give you a bar code tag for your key chain and another gets stuck to the door jam. Hours are M-F 10am-4pm and Saturday 8am-3pm.
