Since this is the dumb drivers thread one thing that drives me absolutely crazy is there are known speed cameras in certain areas I drive though in another county (my county doesn’t have speed cameras) and they even have signs about the speed camera zone and cars will brake and slow down below the speed limit to the point where it disrupts traffic. It’s like they don’t realize that (1) you can actually go the speed limit and (2) there is a 10mph grace limit before the camera goes off. Drives me absolutely crazy!
You see a fair many on 66 when you get out past Centreville, but the beltway there really isn't anywhere for them to sit, and the flow of traffic is such that patrolling causes more problems than it solves
Yes, I'll agree with that. And cops on the side of the road, of course, can't easily get to scofflaws in the center part of the roadway (the express lanes) because they are usually cut off by walls/barricades.
Saw this on a Facebook group tonight. Woman parked her car on some street in Ocean City and cannot find it lol
I wouldn't quite give it an LOL. Perhaps there is reason she cannot find it......might have been stolen. Ocean City, besides being a nice beach town for family outings, also attracts a lot of shady characters as well. Hondas, in particular, are well-known targets for thieves.

She doesn’t seem to be concerned it’s stolen lol
I would direct you to the movie “Dude, where’s my car?”
This is something that always frustrates me. When someone has a huge vehicle with a hitch, and doesn't account for their hitch when parking their huge vehicle:
The result of course is I have to park with my nose hanging out in the aisle:
I agree with you, but that said I always leave my trailer hitch in. That way the idiot that hits me won't put a scratch on my truck.
I wouldn't leave it in if I were in a situation like that driver, though.
No but that was the last space left in the front part of the garage. Yeah I don't blame you for leaving it in, but in that situation you gotta walk around the back and take it out if its sticking into the parking space behind.

As you know (I think), I tow a travel trailer. I never, ever drive my truck with the hitch on unless I am pulling the trailer. Even at the campground, as soon as I disconnect, I pull my hitch out. Those hitches will either take out other car's bumpers, or passer-by's shins!

Oh yeah, I was backing in and noticed it at the last minute in the camera and didn't hit it...

I just forget to take mine out because I tow the boat occasionally and twice a year to the shop for service. They're heavy! Lol.
Those do kill your shins. But like I said, someone rear ends you your truck is scratchless. And people don't get close enough to my truck for it to matter, even when I park places. I don't use any indoor garages, etc.
I'm not sure whether this falls under the category of dumb driver for not noticing it in time, dumb authorities for not closing the road off (assuming the authorities were aware of it), or dumb people with cellphones who didn't report it, but here is a video of a vehicle driving right into a crater from a washed-out road-overpass in China.
Because of the levelness of the highway, the crater was difficult to see until you were almost right on top of it. Fortunately, apparantly there were no injuries......which was amazing considering the severity of the crash.
