First, what a dumbass and second, holy crap the impact looked awful. Whoever was in the car was lucky they didn’t die as sometimes it doesn’t take much.
I love these parking lot crash vids, always fun to see FWD underpowered cars fail at drifts or people just go full moron.
With all due respect, I don't consider it humor to watch even morons tear up or destroy a perfectly good vehicle. And I've seen too many Dolts in V8 Mustangs do the same thing.
Those of you who have followed my posts (and reviews) will remember me saying, after I test-drove a Tesla Model 3, how concerned I was about its incredible low-end torque could be dangerous, or potentially dangerous, in the hands of careless, immature, inexperienced, or inattentive drivers. Same, of course, applies to other Teslas with similar power-levels. In this video, you just got a graphic demonstration why.
I will say one thing for the woman's husband, a County Sheriff....I'm very impressed with his public response to this incident. He's not trying to make any excuses or evasions...even though she is his wife, he is owning up to the fact that she may have to face the consequences of her actions. He takes his job, his badge, and his uniform seriously....even with his own family.

If we don't laugh they wont have any social reinforcement (aka the only kind they respond to) to stop. Plus it is really really funny to see that level of fail

Its their property they are destroying and their money they are wasting. Plenty of vehicles out there lol
Lighten up. Don’t ruin the thread.

I'm no Tesla fan boy, but again, why is it relevant that a drunk driver drove a Tesla into a house? If it was any other car, the name of the car wouldn't be relevant to the story. She was driving thru a neighborhood - this could have happened in a Civic. Low-end torque has nothing to do with this incident.

Your post made me laugh. I was just thinking - I wonder if it's possible she (the wife of the Sheriff) was racing someone.. seems odd the lady in the house says she heard an engine revving up. Maybe there was more to the story; the driver of the Tesla lost control and hit the house and the other car just drove off.
