What about the dumb **** that just open their door freely in the parking lot? I hate these ****. Sitting waiting for by her and this corola pulled in. There was so much space because his car is small and their spaces are very generous. But dang bang! He opened and let the wind help it open. Left a white mark on my door but luckily it was the paint from his. This is the 3rd time I got when sitting inside. The other two times were not as lucky and left with two dents.
That's why I like to go places off peak hours and I always park as far as physically possible. I've never had an issue like that thankfully and I hope to keep it that way....if I'm going somewhere I know will be dense or the city I take the Jeep.

Ugh. Cannot stand people.

I do the same thing too, but invariably some huge nasty truck parks right next to me

‘Same. We take the old 4R when we know parking with be crap.
This is one of my huge Pet Peeves...people who are clueless or so rude that they will pull up to a pump and not pull ahead to the first pump...especially with someone behind them.

Was the first pump out of order? There might have been a sign on it......your video doesn't show from that angle.
Having said that, I basically agree with you that it would be nice if everyone took vehicles behind them into consideration when refueling. And there's one thing the auto manufacturers themselves could do to help.....standarize the location of the fuel filler-pipes on one side of the vehicle....it makes more sense, IMO, with left-hand drive vehicles in the American market, to have the filler-pipes on the left (driver's side). Why some vehicles own this market have them on the right beats me...although I have heard one explanation in the past that it was done because vehicles are less likely to be sideswiped on the passengers side, with possible damage or fuel-leaking from the sideswipe.
Having the filler-pipes all on the same side of the vehicles would also help prevent people from facing opposite directions when driving or maneuvering around the pumps...everyone would go in and out the same way.

Happened to me today:
I hate that too and sometimes when I park and fill up behind someone and they end up leaving before I do I always wonder if people look at me and think I did the same thing the person in your video did.

Oh man, I see this all the time too and it pisses me off. This was taken about a week ago at Costco. The guy in the blue truck stopped at the first pump. I watched him pull in. The spot in front of him was vacant when he pulled up. This costco has 3 pumps in each row. The indicator up above shows the center pump being open as well as his(because of how far from the pump he's parked). Not only did he stop at the first pump, he parked far enough OUT that nobody could get around him either. A serious *******.
I see this behavior all the time at Costco. I've seen fights almost break out.
Also, I'm aware my windshield needs cleaning and yes that's Black Eyed Peas on the radio....I asked Google for a 90's hiphop playlist and they looped Fergie era BEP into it somehow lol.
Does anyone know if they have to pay the damages to the building owner out of pocket or does insurance cover this(if it does)?
Their auto insurance will cover it.
Another crazy thing, we had 5 rollover accidents in Montgomery county over the past two days (4 yesterday and one today) I sat in traffic for two of them.
