But it's not a V8, therefore it's no good.

Even if EV's didn't exist, people would still complain about the death of V8's as they're replaced by hybrid turbo 4 cylinder engines like the latest C-Class AMG's.

The point is that EV's are not designed for those who have 10-20 year old Lexus V8's and want more of that lol.

But people who purchase as second or third owners around 6 to 10 years after the vehicle came out practically have zero say on what the manufacturer makes, that is well beyond the warranty period for most cars. Companies do not build cars with consideration for anyone outside of their warranty period, not even Toyota.

Many Lexus owners on this site currently have vehicles dating from 10-20 years ago, and it's not realistic to expect a modern Lexus or any other car to cater to their tastes based on their old vehicles. Hence why Toyota/Lexus will never put a V8 in their new SUV's again despite the very many vocal complaints here.

Whether you are singling out an individual, or making disparaging comments about a subset of other easily identified, active members who also participate in Car Chat you are continuing with the personal commentary, painting others with a negative broad brush and diminishing their personal choices. Choices which are just as valid as your own and should be respected.

Also ignoring my request.
