Default window tint?....yea or nay?

well what about it?...window tint or no tint? I used to have a bunch of Honda's always like the clean look of not having tint. I thought the GS would be the same way, but now Im having second thoughts on getting tint or not? what do you think?

Let us know how it turns out if you do... I'm thinking about it too, but there are other priorities. But I always like a dark tint on silver or white.

Thumbs up

I vote "aye" but I live in the South, so wasn't a difficult decision. Have Lumar on a MilSil, reflective at some angles, greenish-gray at others. Sounds wierd but looks great!!

Yea!! Get the dark tints....no mirror reflective tints cuz Lexus has UV coating on windows that makes it yellowish in color.

Yeah, my baby look much better with 35% tinted on windows. The only problem is that I now have to watch out for those Mr. Policeman since I have 20% on my rear window. Maryland only allow 35% all around the car. Suck.

I don't know, martialart, my last car was a black/black Benz and I purposely didn't tint it... but it had a blue factory tint which was pretty sharp.

The GS is silver/black, so I think I have to go for it.

(Edit: Yay, my sig finally showed up, so y'all know that already.)

Nice, angelslex, loving the blue! I'm jealous. That window tint won't fly in CA tho... I'm pretty sure the statute only allows windows to be tinted that are behind the driver's head... that's part of the reason why I'm waffling... anyone know for sure?

They are seriously **** here ... you'll get a kick out of this, it's actually off the CHP website...

"Remember - FTBC (failure to be cool) is not a crime!"

I think I'm going to put it on my sig. LOL.
