I had the choice of copper crest for the 450h+, but in the end decided it might look cool now, and would be easy to find, but what if i got tired of it later? polarizing colors tend to be a love/hate thing, but the white/black/grays are the "safer" option. Not sure whether resale is affected as well by color.
Copper crest is a sweet color. Not something you see everyday. I think I’ve only seen one so far.
I enjoy a nice red. I would have got my BMW in metallic red if it was available. It wasn't, so I went with a color that makes sense in the desert, white.

Saw a few at the dealership of course. They look ok, and from what I've heard from owners who have them, people keep marveling to them just out of the blue about how gorgeous it looks. In the end, I went for pearl white on white interior (macadamia/bamboo), and was looking far and wide for one. Was even thinking of shipping one from CA.
Anyways, I'm sure such a color would stand out beautifully in a parking lot filled with the usual whites, blacks, and gray/silvers.
I'm biased towards oranges tones because my first motorcycle was a crisp burnt copper color. But I agree, I don't know if I'd dip deeper into the color well then the forest green I have now. My neighbor has a lime green challenger and while it looks great, I don't think I could pull it off
Well, here's a copper crest 5th gen RX...it supposedly does look orangey in a certain light.
Are they not selling many of the current gen Prius or has the requirement to hypermile in the left lane been lifted? I usually see gen 2s and gen 3s going about 54 mph in the left lane on the freeway. I have only seen 3-4 current gens in the wild.

Supply limited in many places. I have heard owners say they waited months for theirs.
Here in central FL, none of the big dealers had any when I was looking to see one a month back...though I finally did see one just before it was sold.
According to a sales guy in one dealership, most come presold.
ps. And my wife goes 75-85 mph on the left and middle. Then again, she doesn't care about mpg. I keep speed limit on the right.
I've already said it, but the new Prius looks great, and is the first Prius that I think even looks good. It's still not my kind of vehicle, but I can recognize the styling being a home run.

Is your BMW Arctic White or Mineral White Metallic? Both look good on the 5 Series IMO.

I don't follow the Prius too close so out of curiosity I looked at 1st qtr. 2024 sales and Toyota sold 13,327 +138% in the quarter.
