Where do you actually parallel-park?
You have a driveway at home, don't you, and, unless one regularly drives into downtown D.C. (which never has any open parking spaces to start with LOL), most of the places we typically frequent around here have mall/garage-type perpendicular or angular-spaces.

D.C. is famous for ultra-difficult street-parking and over-zealous enforcement. Once, when I was still at work, they ticketed a Federal staff-car I was driving, even though I was told to leave it where it was by the building's Security-Guards/Federal police. I had to take time to go downtown to the Traffic-Adjucation building (my boss gave me official leave time for it) to get the Magistrate there to nullify the ticket. (and parking there, at the TA building, wasn't easy, either LOL).BTW, somewhat off-topic, but some of the Chevy Celebrity wagon staff-cars my agency had at that time were part of the references (and driving-experience) I used for the (requested) Celebrity write-up I did.
