Yeah, except in rare instances, Audi leases are shockingly bad. Regardless of one's opinion on leasing in general (and we certainly have the whole spectrum here), you should never lease an Audi.
So, if Audi leases are bad, why not go to a 3rd party lease company? Semi trucks aren’t typically leased thru a dealer, they are leased thru large, 3rd party leasing companies.

Such leasing companies are pretty rare in the automotive world today, and they typically have unusual corporate open ended type leases.

Residuals and the paper is discounted on the front-end by the manufacturer, no bank can directly compete.
Unfortunately no third-party financing can jive as they don't have the opportunity to discount the paper (buy down) at inception for 60@0% as an example. The manufactures give up margin to buy down the rate.
So today I finally got somebody to let me take an S560 out on my own. Got to drive it for about 45 minutes, local roads, highway, etc. I've decided that this is what I really want, it doesnt make any sense for me to get out of the Lexus and get into a car that I don't *really* want, I may as well just keep it. That is, assuming the repair comes out well.
The one I drove was Magnetite Black, which is basically a dark grey, was pretty sharp. This one happened to be RWD, and its missing the wood/leather wheel and has a big door ding.scratch down to the metal in the rear drivers side door or I'd consider it:
So what? As long as they align the panels right and match the paint, it's fine. Drivability won't be affected at all. Fender benders don't ruin a car in the vast majority of cases.
I'd buy that car in a second. From what I know the accidents were minor big picture wise. Frame bent or something, absolutely not.
That's not to say I look for a used car that's been in a wreck, though.
