Cybertruck is going to be the toughest vehicle ever made, at least for civilian use. They will be used in extreme environments that kill other trucks.
I still think it belongs off planet or in a remote desert somewhere, but to each their own

There is no way you'll see any roads filled with the CT
i imagine people said similar things about model 3/Y and they're all over.

The problem with the Cybertruk is, when will production ramp? Heck, there hasn't even been 1 delivered. Even when deliveries start, the numbers will be small. And it had better be good...
A bazillion reservations will take years to fulfill.

True. But Cybertruck will probably ramp up faster than any other EV truck. As hard as some of the production processes will be at first, there are other processes that don't exist like a paint shop that's a huge drag on production.

I have a day one Cybertruck reservation (although Tesla says it's an order on the confirmation email), so if I did complete the order then chances are it would arrive reasonably soon after deliveries commence. Interested to see how the production truck turns out.

Depends where you are in the cue. Assuming 200,000 production in 2024 (unlikely) you'll need to be in that cue pool to have a chance.

according to some Tesla forums you can figure out, roughly, your place in line based on your order number. If those are right, I’m well within the first 100,000.

Well, you had better be ready to let us know what you think about your Cybertruk! Thanks in advance!

This is surprising to me didn't know HW4 had no FSD support until now, and cars shipped had no updates for over 1 month.

Tesla is the only company that can get away with selling a car half baked. With HW4 on the S they didn’t immediately have parking distance cameras set up when they got rid of the parking sensors. I assume that it’s set up by now but haven’t checked.
