came across this example page and related ones there for all the categories of vehicles and i think it’s a nice simple format with links into full details, and easy to navigate

Best large luxury cars
https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/...ury-large-cars
Best 3 row suvs
https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/...vs-with-3-rows
(You can find your own category of interest )

All rankings start point:

I like this site and use it frequently. I agree that their methodology and list of sources is straightforward and easy to follow.

Yes. I will now use this one, plus i like edmunds for their straightforward info... especially like their “what’s new for [year x]” which covers what’s changed.

An interesting site, though I can't always agree with their rankings.

Anybody who puts the Acura RLX above the S Class in a ranking of best large luxury cars knows nothing about cars lol

Doubtful. CR has called the current S-class the best-riding sedan that they have ever sampled.

I do agree, though, having reviewed one, that IMO a lot of people underestimate the RLX, perhaps because of its low sales. I liked its road manners very much....though it lacks some of the iron-anvil-build construction that the previous 2Gen RL had. And the SH-AWD that was formerly standard is now an option, though the base RLX does come with four-wheel-steering.

I don't think even CR likes the RLX.

I just looked at the listings and unless I'm reading them wrong, they list the RLX last at #10 in Large Luxury Cars and the S Class #1 in Super Luxury Cars. That seems about right.

exactly it's last, so perhaps SW17LS read it wrong.

I must have read something wrong...I see it now. I didn't look at "Super Luxury cars" or differentiate between "large luxury cars" and "super luxury cars"

Understandable. My first thought if someone said "Super Luxury Cars" would be something like a Maybach or Bentley, not a plebian S 550.

The LS is pretty "super".

I do like that website though. Since they combine info from lots of other websites, I tend to feel they would be more consistent than if one were to just exclusively read Motor Trend for instance.
