The Tacoma looks dated to me and it's tech is awful. Ford's Sync3 is great. User friendly and quick. Seat comfort is better. A lot more power and much better ride and feel behind the wheel.
Good for you. Colour combo?

Thanks, Mike.

Just my opinion, but I think you did the right thing by going with the Ranger. The Tacoma is reliable and a good off-roader, but otherwise, is not in the same league with the Ranger, which, though not plush, is a noticeably nicer truck inside and out.

I'm now in SC from NJ so no need for 4WD.
I don't do a lot of mileage per. 3k-4k
The Ranger just feels much better in just about everything. I also like the interior much more. Did I mention the Sync3 and Nav is great!
The Tacoma still blows away small pickups all in sales.

I have two American badges. The first time I've had one in 15 years and two in 30+ years.
Bought the Ranger and leased a '19 MKC Reserve for my wife. The lease numbers were crazy low on this $46K vehicle. It doesn't sell.I took a shot and 7 months with 4500 miles and not one issue. Very nice vehicle for the wife and I but tight in back.

A new gen Tacoma is coming in '21 or '22. Very interested in seeing if Toyota stays pretty much the same as the last few gens or takes a risk.

The Tacoma is still a great truck. Some compromises. But the new Ranger is newer and larger and is just more modern.

Just a phrase meaning after years of not buying/leasing an American badge, I took a chance and was happy with the MKC so I went with the Ranger.

Nice vehicles in your garage! I really like what Lincoln is doing with all of their SUV's.

I agree. Great looking vehicles. Interiors have really gotten better. Navigator is best in class IMO.
