Whe the hell do they need to add some weird looking styling inside and out to the electric cars? Why not just make them normal without any quirks, and slap electric drivertrain in there?
Obviously the Merc is a million times better than the Tesla, but still has styling elements that look out of place.

Bit, the Merc isn't bad, certainly not as terrible as most electric cars when it comes to styling, but that weird lip around the grille and the grille itself looks out of character for MB and their normally classy styling. This thing looks like a Honda or a Nissan from the front.

I also agree with the weird electric car quirks in styling. You dont see any other Mercedes with those copper color accents. Then there is that weird grill/light bar in the front.
