I would like to see this car coming in the EU. We are crippled of nearly every sporty cars in the Lexus lineup and are ending up with all the hybrid models. It's okay, but for the minority wanting interesting cars, this is very frustrating.

Why won't they make another ISF?

My guess would be that they only had the budget or desire to make the RC F. It is essentially the successor to the IS F.

someone in this forum put the ISF engine in the current IS. If Lexus wanted to they could and it’s not a big budget operation.

If that was Lexus's excuse it's a weak one. They could release a limited amount of them. Obviously, people want another ISF. I would buy one tomorrow

A lot of development costs go into developing a trim of a car. The more demand, the easier it is to justify the development costs, so releasing fewer of them would not help. The engine swap done by amatuers is not going to have the same level of refinement and tuning as something done by Lexus.

I'm not disagreeing that they should have made one, just trying to give possible reasons why they wouldn't. I think it seems logical that they picked the coupe over the sedan for their smaller F model.

I love the IS. I thoroughly enjoyed mine for the 2 years I had it. I still think it's one great looking car, even this late in the life cycle.

Yeah I am kinda sad I decided to lease mine. Even though I know it's a stupid financial decision I am really tempted to just buy it out. I got exactly the color combo I wanted, even. The only regret I have is not going for the 350. The extra power would make it just right, I think. Maybe I'll do the RR Racing tune?

An IS F would be bonkers though.

You're right and it would probably cost over $70,000. I guess i'll have to try to find a used 2012-2014 for a reasonable cost.
