I've had a couple of X1 loaners; I agree, NOT prestigious--especially with the Nav Business lower res non-wide screen iDrive display. Does it ride/handle better than the Buick? Probably. But the interior is nowhere near as quiet as my 3-Series; I felt like I might as well be driving a CR-V.

I'll be the first to admit that when I speak my mind, someone out out there might be affected/offended. I believe you--actually the first generation of that car is ugly, but imho handled well, and available in RWD. Now, the new one is good looking, but FWD based, the reverse. At what point do we just get the best in class, a CR-V, and maybe wear a hat or mask so nobody sees us driving it. I don't like FWD based cars, and that is just me against the rest of the world....ditto with V6's....

The end.

And I'm just kidding lol
You may be kidding, but you are, in fact, correct. The Envision is built in China, and exported to the U.S. There are two plants that build the Encore.....one in Korea and the other in China (presumably for the two different markets).
