Can't speak for the whole country, but, in the D.C. area, based on the numbers I've actually seen on the road, I'd say the Cascada, hands-down. Even though the G90 is (admittedly) a lot of car for the money, one can get two typically-equipped Cascadas for the price of one typically-equipped G90. That's a lot of extra leftover money in the bank.
Yeah, but then you'd have two discontinued Cascada's in the garage.

So? In this area, there are LOTS of discontinued vehicles sitting in LOTS of garages...and in other types of parking spaces. Almost anything on four wheels sells in the D.C. area....in that respect, it is much like L.A., except not quite so many exotics and supercars.
The Cascada was similar to the many stupid product decisions through the years leading up to GM's bankruptcy. When it launched it struck me as an immediate flop waiting to happen. Nobody buys convertibles anymore - GM: "let's make a small Buick convertible".

What difference does it make to GM? It’s just a rebadged Opel. Nobody else did it. So looks me it served a purpose. I am glad GM did something like this.
Lacrosse is also out the door as well. Read on Jalopnik, that Buick maybe tapping into Buick Chinas future lineup to import to the states
I just read that article. Its a slap in the face if China made Buick LaCrosse models come to the US. Marshall should sell his Lacrosse as nobody should support such a move. A discrace by Mary Barra.

Normally I'd want something built in the U.S., in conjunction with my support for American labor. My Outback was built in Lafayette, IN, my Verano at Orion, MI, and my Lacrosse at the Detroit/Hamtramck plant. If Buick, in the future, imports Chinese-built Lacrosses here, my checkbook will probably be ready, providing that they aren't radically different from the current model, have more uncomfortable seats, or have rougher-riding wheels/tires. Tariffs, though, might (?) bump up the price of a Chinese-built model....the current one, IMO, built at Hamtramck, is a bargain for the money, offering more ride comfort per dollar (with 18" wheels) than any other vehicle I know of....though a couple of others come close.
BTW, I considered a Cascada when it first debuted...except for some oil consumption, I had had generally good luck with my Verano, and the Cascada, built on generally the same platform and interior, has a different engine. It was one of the best-built convertibles for the money I had seen (almost zero cowl shake)...but Buick screwed up with the standard 20" wheels/tires, which made it too stiff, and there was no option for any smaller wheels or higher-profile tires.

I've only seen one of these in it's entire run, and like most Buicks in SoCal, it was a rental.
As everyone else is saying, no surprise. This car maybe excelled 8% in execution and styling, and that's being generous. I'm too lazy to bring up the original Cascada thread, but I explicitly said this car would be a failure and here we are today.
If this car was any good or of any success, they could have redesigned it and made it live on. Saying it lived out it's normal life cycle is really a smoke-screen excuse to save face.
Buick Cascada had some redeeming features however excess weight, underpowered engine & poor fuel economy
and Opels poor reliability record were weaknesses. Buick Opel Cascada - RHD
