kind of funny, but in few months when all models are refreshed, Toyota and likely Lexus will have most spread connected system as it is completely free and it is also available on many models not just premium levels. Not to mention that it also has support for Alexa, together with Android and Apple.

The bolded part is just silly. GM has had CarPlay/Android Auto available on pretty much its entire lineup for several years now, and it's standard on most, including the base model Spark, which costs just $13k. Here's just the Chevy models:

They're also widely available across the Honda/Acura, VW/Audi and Hyundai/Kia lineups,among others.

Does BMW have AA? I think they're one of the ones that charge for CarPlay.

Note the article i posted first has a first sentence:

“One of the last major holdouts in adding Android Auto compatibility has finally caved.”

and toyota only announced it for 3 models in the u.s.

No they don't do AA. They are the only manufacturer that does wireless CP as far as I'm aware, but they're also the only one that charges a subscription for the privilege, which is just a ridiculous money grab.

I suspect there’s a large correlation of bmw drivers and iphone owners (hint: image-conscious) :D

Toyota finally got the message thankfully, I wonder how?

I wonder if they will now focus on remote start operation, due out in 2040. Stay tuned

......and probably an even higher correlation of those using the iPhone while driving those BMWs.

Of course, distracting driving is not limited to BMWs....I see it in virtually anything with four wheels.
