2020 Cadillac XT6
The 2020 Cadillac XT6 rounds out Cadillac's crossover lineup with a range-topper. It also presents an option for people who wanted a three-row Cadillac but didn't want something as large and truck-like as an Escalade. This is partly achieved through using a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 powering either the front or all four wheels. A nine-speed automatic transmission sends the V6's 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque to the ground.

The XT6 is split between two trim levels that appear to be marketed as different rather than one being better. The first is redundantly called Premium Luxury. A chrome grille and trim, red taillights and unique 20-inch wheels distinguish it as such from the outside, while wood trim covers the inside. The second is Sport, and black trim replaces the chrome, red taillights are swapped for clear, and carbon fiber supplants the wood inside. It has different 20-inch wheels as well as optional 21-inch pieces. The Sport gets mechanical tweaks, too, including continuously adjustable shocks and a standard all-wheel-drive system with yaw control.
No matter the trim, all XT6's get an interior that builds upon the XT4 with more physical buttons and a control **** for the infotainment for scrolling through menus and lists. Safety and convenience features abound, including standard automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning and lane-keep assist. Optional features include night vision, parking assist with braking support, a heads-up display and a camera screen mirror. Adaptive cruise control is also available, but it's not Super Cruise, our Tech of the Year award winner.
Cadillac will start taking orders for the Tennessee-built crossover this spring.

Very boring and underwhelming. I think this vehicle is where Cadillac could come out with a new design. Something interesting. We have seen this design too many times now.

Superb styling. I really like it. Like VW's Atlas and Subaru's Forester, it's styled like an SUV is supposed to be....high roofline, (apparently) plenty of room in the back, large windows, relatively thin D-pillars, and yes, you can actually see out of a design like that.

does not look luxurious. looks like something subaru would do.

I like the front and the rear, but the side profile is too Traverse or Pilot.

I was gonna ask that. The achilles heel of that platform imho is an outdated engine. I had a '19 Impala and thought man this thing is not what I'd expect of a turbo 4, it's so lethargic and I don't feel the boost. Then I see the V6 badge on the back. It was so thirsty to boot, < 18 mpg on city/highway.
Not everybody notices but it seems so many car mfgs have switched from forged aluminum to stamped steel control arms, old gen to new gen. The new Traverse is no exception.

Who dictated that the trend on exhaust would be those things (most cars have them now)? When I saw that the tips were not actually real on a Camry, i.e. solid blanks, I said shame on Toyota. Then, I saw a week and a half ago, a SQ5 had blanks too! I find that odd--the fakery. Why not simply have a real exhaust or none at all? There were some Mercedes and Hyundais who had no exhaust exiting the rear. Trends are really strange today.

Its actually much smaller than the Traverse, nothing shared between the two.
I'm surprised by everybody's reactions...I really like this car. I like that its not too over the top like a lot of Cadillacs.
Saw an XT4 on the road the other day, and it just does not look like a premium vehicle at all to me, whereas this really does.

I guess, then, that you were not surprised by my reaction, above....like you, I liked it. It is styled like what it is supposed to be (an SUV), not a sports car. Another recent SUV addition that is well-styled (like an SUV is supposed to be) is the VW Atlas.

I like the Atlas too, I just don't like the teutonic way VW makes interiors.
