Naa, Chevy guys will always be Chevy guys. IMHO the F Super Duty is pretty ugly too

I kinda like it. Could be a little more exciting from the rear. It's a bit of a let down visually after seeing the front.

....especially with American full-size pickups.
You guys think I'M a Lacrosse fanatic....F-150 and Silverado fans (and, in some cases, Ram fans) have a devotion to their trucks that makes me and my fondness of the Buick nameplate look cold. That's why the Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan haven't really been able to crack the American full-size truck market in more than two decades, though the Tundra, overall, has been somewhat more successful than the Titan.

Gah! I did it again! I gotta stop taking a drink while looking at this thread...
The Ford Super Duty is a MUCH more attractive truck, but only in upper level trims with the LED lighting. The standard halogen lamps just look funny IMO. I honestly don't understand why LED lighting is not mandated federally. It's vastly superior to any halogen on the market today.

So much for the front end. The Jalopnik article didn't say, but an interesting question, IMO, is how much aluminum this new truck has (if any) compared to the last Silverado (and to the mostly-aluminum F-150). Chevy made a big deal (apparently with good reason) in its last series of Silverado ads on how much more durable its steel bed was, when heavy rocks were dropped in, than the F-150's aluminum. Now, if Chevy turns around and does the same thing with their bed that Ford did, it's going to make those ad-people look like chumps.

Im just saying that designs go through a ton of scrutiny by upper management before it gets green lighted. I mean whats the point of all that hard work only for it to get made fun on a forum.
