What about Focus, one of the best selling cars in the world for a long time now, being killed. I know Ford is going forward will a "crossover" version (read lifted Focus). But is Ford dropping the regular sedan/hatchback from the world market? It far outsells Accord for gods sake (and Camry!)
I think that's NA only. From my recollection someone or something has confirmed Focus will live in other markets just like Fiesta. That would be a suicide to kill F&F in other parts of the world where two of those are Ford's best sellers.
And Ford being full on themselves on whole SUV craze they still miss proper RAV4/CRV competitor cause Kuga/Escape just isn't. Then there is the Edge which Ford offers almost all over the world but with a starting price of like 45K euros which makes ... I don't know what it makes it but spending that money for that same Kuga two generation behind interior
Having spent a week with an Impala I liked it as a car, and as a rental, I would have preferred it with a turbo 4 if it even comes with one. V6 too thirsty and no torque.
I've emailed Scotty on whether I should get a Sonic

Correct, those vehicles will still be sold in other markets just not here

Absolutely. The 2014 redesign completely transformed it from a poorly-built, rental-grade ****-mobile into one of the best full-sized sedans on the market for the money. Even Consumer Reports agreed....they ranked its road-manners up with that of some sedans costing two and three times as much.
In my own review, I remarked that it was probably the best new Impala/Caprice since the late 1970s. For some 35 years, they were rental-grade junk.
The first change was at my suggestion, as non-moderators can only adjust the title only for a limited period of time after the OP. Any more changes after than that is from the moderators, not me.
