The massive front overhang of the current on is almost gone! Thank you RWD platform. Cannot wait to see what's in store for the Explorer and Aviator.

that looks GREAT. much lower hood height over front wheel, unlike the ecosport abomination.

I like the quad exhaust, interior screen looks like it was placed there last minute like they forgot about it and said oh let's stick it here

I've seen far worse 'tablet' styles like in some Mercedes. This doesn't look terrible. Unique design. This Explorer, the F-150, and Aviator will all be in consideration to replace my moms '08 RX soon. The parentals want to haul a boat and want more room to shuttle our two German Shepard's (85lbs and 110lbs) around.

This is the best attempt yet at a Ford interior, IMO. Hopefully we see continued progress.

I'd agree....not a bad attempt, except for that tacked-on video screen. I don't know why auto companies do that, when it looks SO much better to have the screen integrated into the dash. Probably cost-cutting......cheaper just to tack it on.

They do it to be able to lower the dash for visibility without having to lower the screen.

Not a huge fan of the interior...

The electronics (and magnetic field) from the video screen on top of it wouldn't interfere with recharging? (I am not an electrician or an engineer....just wondering out of curiosity).

No.

I’m sure it’s a wireless charger.

That's the confusing part. The electromagnetic field from those video screens is also wireless. But, like I said, I'm not enough of an engineer to know the details.

Sulu.....you have a lot of experience in this area as an engineer. What do you think?
