Enjoy and keep the enthusiasm. I really hope there will be another GS coming up. As you said, and I see out there too, there is still a loyal following.
Thank you! I definitely agree that the GS does not get the credit it deserves. I myself had started to write it off and hadn't seriously considered it as a replacement. But as I said, I've been struggling with getting rid of my 15. I decided to check out the 19s and figured I'd only buy one if it felt different from my 15. About 3 minutes into the test drive I knew I wanted it. Lots of new added tech, smoother and quieter, etc.

I have been looking at the G70 and Stinger as possible replacement candidates for my IS, but part of me knows sticking with Lexus would be a safe bet. Especially the GS - I agree that it looks like the next GS will be no GS... So might as well pick one up while they are still hot. Hope the car treats you well.
Thanks! Up to about 3 weeks ago I was firm on the Stinger. I still love them. I did have a few reservations with it, and it would have been a lease, but overall I think I would be happy. But I really wanted a red one, and for whatever reason, there is still not a single red GT2 in Washington state. I got tired of waiting.

A few more pictures. Can't wait until the weather cooperates and I can give it a thorough cleaning/detailing, and get it out in the sun for some real pics.

Congrats! I felt the same way when I chose my 2017 LS460L. I was happy in that case to buy the end of the model run because I knew what was coming was going to be really different.

What color did you wind up getting?

Another thing about the GS is that it is time proven to be reliable. The Stinger has not been out long enough to be long term reliable yet. Time will tell with that model.
