Here's the 2019 BMW Z4

Looks great. The Supra needs to debut already! |

love that interior!!!!
|
Is that a button in the middle of the steering wheel above the ///M logo?
|
Exterior is u-g-l-y did BWM hire all the designers at Ford that got fired?
|
LOVE the rear. I couldn't think of a better design for sporty taillights. But the front looks like a generic, rounded blob, or something off an overstuffed Miata. Headlights are too large to be sporty. Grille is too upright. Actually, the entire front end could be lifted off a sedan. Not sporty enough. But that back end... dang... hot. The two ends look to be designed three years apart.
Agreed, interior and dash look great. Very modern and techie. Not a bad offering overall, if they can just make the front sportier. |

Umm... I think we all would lol. This car is probably a third of what the M8 would cost.

Went back tonight to stare at the dash a bit more. Perfect integration and flow. This shows one (cough cough, Audi) does not have to have a perfect rectangle jutting up from the vents to house a nav screen. And the steering wheel is so smooth and slick. If the S2000 lived to see 2019, perhaps this is what the interior could have looked like.
One thing with this new Z4. It's another example of what the newer ped crash/hood laws have done to erode design. Imagine this body, but with a lower, sleeker nose, like how the S2000 was. We had it good back then, before zombies with cell phones wandered into intersections. |

Question: Does this car come in a manual, or has BMW done away with them altogether like Audi? |
