Congrats.
I have an IS250 which despite being underpowered is reasonably fun to drive thanks to the handling and steering. What I want next is a Boxster or F-type but probably going to be 10 yrs I can reasonably consider those. I think a Mustang GT would be a good stop-gap.
My only hesitation is my obsession with fine leather and wood. The Mustang's interior isn't "bad" especially since the refresh but it's no Lexus either.

Congrats on the GT, bro.
I really like the new Mustangs, especially the GT350. They are literally what Mustangs should have been all along - not that weak crap they made in the 2000s with the underpowered V6 and V8. They have dramatically improved. I really wanted one but I couldn't find myself to pull the trigger on one because of exactly what BrownPride said. I couldn't give up the Lexus badge, quality and refinement. Not saying the interior of the Mustang is bad - its much better than before. Its just no Lexus.
