It has same wheelbase length as CLS and E class. So room should be adequate, but far off from the full-size S-class.
In this screen shot this journalist is 6ft tall sitting behind the front seat set for himself to drive.

That is really unfortunate, if it is same size as an E-Class I won't be interested at all.

I agree, I kinda like the CLS styling over the GT-4. I hope Lexus joins in on the fun & brings to market a 4 door LC coupé with the twin turbo V6 from the LS.

His knees are OK, but where does he put his head when he sits back in the seat?

He is surprised his hair is not touching the roof panel. He has about 2.5 to 3 inches of head room as a 6ft 1in tall rear passenger.

I like it other than the vertical grill. First 4 door Mercedes in a while that I like the look of.

There has been some rumors than the 5th Generation Lexus GS will be repositioned as a 4 door CLS/6 series GC/A7 competitor.

Why are people surprised that the legroom and headroom in the back of a 4 door coupe isn’t cavernous?

There'a an old saying in the auto buisness...."What's more important...looking at your vehicle, or looking out of it?" ...though, of course, that saying originated before the age of back-up cameras. Same with headroom..."Looking at your vehicle, or getting in and out of it"? That's particularly true with sunroof housings.
