Wishful Thinking? The $150k 2001 LX470
I had to LOL when I saw this listing. I get that it only has 1,000 miles, but it has a salvage title due to be stolen and it's not in high demand with collectors (as far as I know). Maybe if it was an LX450 with lockers, they could get $30-40k with only 1,000 miles? Thoughts?

Lead Lap
darn, and just the other day I was saying how I was ready to get one of these for $145,000... but this is just slightly out of the budget

Must be an incorrect, extra "0".... $15,000 is more realistic...

Dude that truck is $10,000 tops with a salvage title. People who buy salvage title cars are looking for a deal and will beat you to hell on price.
IMO the only reason you should buy a salvage title car is if you get it for dirt cheap and plan to buy it for the long haul and drive it into the ground. Helps a lot if you know the vehicle's history, IE it was hit in the front and caused $3000 worth of cosmetic damage on a car worth $6,000 and was totaled out. Also helps if you know what to look for in terms of body damage. If you are planning to flip the car, buy one with a clean title, salvage title cars never go for good money.
