The Borrego hasn't been seen in any US or Canadian dealerships since MY2011 so how that's relevant to a thread about the K900 seems odd. One's a sedan and one's an SUV. They sold 4 of them in Canada in 2012. Genesis will have the GV80 in 2019, likely a GV70 as well. I doubt the K900 is supposed to sell like Camrys or RXs, but it appears Kia wants to keep its flagship around to fill a slot if nothing else.

Much different C piliar and it looks like a much slimmer A pillar. I'm assuming that this is based on the current Genesis G90 rather than the old Equus. I always thought that KIA should have based their larger car on what is now known as the G80, but a Korean friend reminded me that size, comfort, and status are important in their home market so the KIA flagship must equal the Hyundai flagship.

More teases. It looks really good and now the question is if it has the G90 platform underneath the sheetmetal. And ughh, those gigantic bicycle wheels and rubber band tires.

suweet. as for rims/tires they will likely be toned down for production

KIA has confirmed that it will be on the same platform as the G90. It may not have the same springs, shocks, or tires if they want it to be more "sporty" than the G90.

The biggest and best thing Kia can do is rethink their oddly shaped notched grille. It makes no sense any way you look at it and puts a strain on front end styling.

Kia itself calls that the "Tiger" grille....just like Lexus uses the term "Spindle-Grille". I agree....I'm not a big fan of either one.

Saw a current model K900 this morning on the freeway for the first time in white. It looked like an Optima, but with the larger overall size and headlight DRLs I knew it wasn't. I let it pass me and saw the badge. It's decent, but I don't get that premium vibe. This render looks way nicer IMO.

I like what I am seeing, not over styled or trying to be trendy, just a nice look and proportions. Glad we are at least getting more choices with full sized rear wheel drive luxury sedans with KIA and Genesis.
