Guess what I have as a rental Josh? A Ram truck LOL
yeah? How do you like it? As a rental its probably not a top-trim truck, but if it is, I'll bet you like it

The ride quality on newer Rams, at least on the more softly-sprung 1500 versions, is nothing short of amazing for a body-on-frame pickup truck.

It was a very low package one, cloth seats, etc. However it rode and drove nice, BIG! Crew cab and the extended bed, no backup camera. You should have seen me trying to park it. My son was thrilled when he saw it (he loves trucks). My business partner has a much nicer Laramie trim one with the shorter bed, he loves it. Traded his GS350 on it.

Got the car back from having the ClearBra installed. Full front SunTek Ultra kit, full hood, fenders, bumper,
headlights headlights
, mirrors. I also had him wrap the black trim on the B pillars because that always gets swirled and scratched up in my experience. Same installer that did my GS and my 2015 LS. He does GREAT work if anybody in the area ever wants this done. I'll never buy another car without a full front PPF kit.

Its hard to get pictures of, which is a good thing but here are a few:

Window tint Wednesday, still deciding between 30% and 40%. Tires should be here and go on next Monday.

50 mile ride back from the installer today (thats how good he is, I drove that far), had the ML audio turned up to 35, radar cruise set, air suspension set to comfort...wonderful machine.

Thanks guys!

Got the tint installed today. Labored about 30% vs 40%, went with 30% Formula One Stratos

Car was nice and clean when I left to go up there today, but Mother Nature took care of that...

Temperature-wise, you can probably wash it tomorrow afternoon....low 40s. If not tomorrow, definitely Friday or this week-end, with spring-like temperatures.

Problem is.....after the nice rain a few days ago washed all the salt off the local roads here, they dumped more salt on them for the light snow last night (in my area they use the brine-stripes)....so, even if the roads are now dry, they will still have that dried-powder on them. We'll have to put up with that until the next general rain washes the roads off again.....hopefully early next week, if the forecast is right.

Thanks!

oh I kno, the salting is out of control. The roads are totally white. I’m going to give it a rinseless wash in the garage now, not a lot of point but it is what it is

The tint looks good. The LS has a nice subtle look. Good choice.

Congrats on the new car, looks awesome. I’ve had SWB and LWB LS’ and l liked the LWB much better for the extra room in the back seat.

Love Suntek PPF. I like it better than Xpel personally. Since my GTR is black I covered the entire car with Suntek but unfortunately the Ultra came out like a month after I had my car done. Sucks for me.
