5th Gen GS, any news yet?

I've been reading conflicting reports. I hope they keep the GS. The level of quality is high and above the ES.

I researched this as much as I could before purchasing a 2018 last month.
Nothing really conclusive IMO and didn't feel the need to wait when the current model was what I was looking for. I'm also skeptical about first year models so even if they came out with a new model, I would want to wait until the second year.
Totally speculation here, but I would bet that Lexus will make a 2019 identical to the 2018 then merge the ES and GS platform for 2020.
In fact my Lexus sales guy (I know, they don't know everything!) mentioned that the GS would probably be discontinued and that they would restyle the ES and add an AWD option to it.
He also mentioned that he thought the GX platform would be discontinued entirely. I almost bought one last year but the darn thing would not drive straight!! It pulled to the right even on very flat and new roads. Come to find out this is a common problem..no thanks...geez, my old 2005 4 runner V8 would drive straight and I bear the hell out of that truck!
Only time will tell what will happen.

Lexus tries to be so hard like Apple, in terms of all future products. No one knows anything. Those who do, don't talk, those who don't, talk too much.

If there is a new GS. What is the one change/upgrade you want on it?
Me: Add a Turbo engine option.
