Happy Holiday CL!! He's baaaa.... well... MAYBE...

Howdy CL

First off, Happy Holidays CL family to you and yours, been a LOOOOONG time!!!

So still lovin' the Stang (mods now north of 475HP ) but you guys know me, get bored after a year or so and tired of the attention afforded all the Popo (thx Escort, saved me $$$)

So I've been lurking on the RC pages and taking a strong interest in a 2015-16 RC350 F AWD CPO. Good info as always on the RC forums, anyone have anything extra to add? Heding for test drive later today...

Happy holidays again all !!
Russ

The RTI is very clunky, and the Gen8 Nav very laggy. Apart from the infotainment, I like the bolstered seats, S/S+ modes, and the back seats fold down so that's a plus.

Hey bud, long time, thx for feedback. Went and looked ( Sales guy's first question was, " You interested in a car? " :uh:. ).... Not flying my skirt up, now leaning towards some concave new shoes and springs for the Beast:woohoo:

Yessir, it's been awhile! Sure thing man.

Yeah that's not a good first impression, I'd of backed away slowly too hah.

Well in that case your Beast has one of the biggest aftermarkets around, so you should be able to find some good xmas deals on shoes and springs :)

Yeah...went through another round of surgery since you last left...this time, less-extensive, for a knee injury. Recovered very well. Don't laugh, but I'm in an "Old Man" Buick Lacrosse now. Wanted another big Buick ever since I got out of college, many years ago....when I had my last one....but they had crap quality for 40 years, from the 70s up to just a few years ago.

I remember when you were going Ga-Ga for the Shelby Mustang, and worked up a deal on one. Settled on a (later) GT instead?

Be glad to help, but exactly what is it you're looking for? Not sure what you mean by "concave"?:uh:

On the RC, I've seen them and sat in them (and an F-Sport), but, as yet, not done a test-drive. Nice-looking car outside, but, for the price, I'm not impressed with the interior or the materials they use inside.

Found an insane deal on a 2016...bought day after Trump won :woohoo: Looked at a GT350 but I saved $25K  and with mods now almost the same HP

And I'm looking for the right concave wheels... gone round and round, might even start a contest. Like Vossen but $$$... checking CL marketplace to see if any vendors wish to help...

OK....Gotcha on the design. You're right that it's hard to beat Vossens if you want a wide color choice....they do a true rainbow, but their prices are up there. If you do decide to go with Vossens, since you want a color recommendation, I'd say gold or tan, in general, goes best with red paint, then silver or gray. If you decide to go with something less expensive, the classic 5-spoke (mag) look has always been popular with pony cars.

Is there anything wrong with the stock wheels?......or you just don't like them?

Yep, leaning 5-spoke....just not a fan of the OEMs... but... here in WI, gotta be careful with what I get, as you know my friend the roads here are BRUTAL.... like chrome/silver/hyper.. not a fan of dark colors... every time I go out I get compliments on the red color, especially sunny days... so need wheels that "pop"...

Anyone out there has a suggestion, I'm all ears! :D:thumbup:

I would go brushed silver on a Ruby Stang.
