nice car, I have been on the market for either a C5 magnacharged z06, 2010+ supercharged Camaro SS , or 3rd gen dodge viper

The Camaros I love because of the corvette drive train, massive , affordable aftermarket support and the larger size of the vehicle

Yours is a beauty, but automatic ..... that's the only negative lol

I just read your other thread that got closed, on why you left Lexus, and I agree 100%

Its sad that since the isf came out they really haven't upped the bar all that much.

I used to hate American cars when I was younger, seen them as sort of cheap and lacking in style and stuff, but the tables have turned 100%

They are coming out with a lot of cool stuff, from 700 hp hellcats, to the ZL1's, supercharged mustangs, supercharged -widebody vettes, vipers etc... ..... they know how to draw the crowds and catch peoples interests, and all at a very good price.

I love the LS line of lexus, because for a daily driver I love everything about it, but aside form that there isn't much that I am interested in to be honest.

Everything they make now seems to be for grampa and his trips to the chiropractor.

Loved Lexus/Toyota products back in the 80's and 90's. They still make reliable cars, but a lot of their cars are rather uninteresting. The ISF was a great car during it's time, but Toyota just went conservative on the RCF and GSF. I use to hate American cars, especially Ford, with a passion. Now Ford and Chevy are two of my favorite manufacturers. Whenever I think of Toyota, I think of the old Buicks and Lincoln Town Cars. I hope that someday Toyota will up their game again. As of right now, I have no interest in any of the current Lexus/Toyota vehicles. For the same price of any of their vehicles, I rather look elsewhere.

Guys those threads were closed for a good reason, please don't simply continue posting the same topic here instead.

Lets keep this thread on the topic of Tammer's zl1 review.

I couldn't stand the 5th generation inside or out. But since 2016 and the 6th gen, GM has really shown they want to play.

For me I still look forward too moving up to a newer model LS, and as time goes on hopefully they make some cooler stuff.

But for the price you cant beat the americans right now

It still has alot of issues with the main one being **** poor visibility. I can't even get in or out of that car without bashing my head and I am only 6'. For that reason alone, I could never own a Camaro. Just way too awkward.

Great review and video. Nice to see you posting here at CL again. . And keep that I8ABMR logo....under the right circumstances (hopefully, not on a public street LOL) , you're going to be eating a lot of Beemers.

Keep in mind, though, that, if it is used on a track, drag-strip, for motorsports, or even for street-racing, the warranty may be restricted or voided.

I like that G-meter....wish one of those had been in the airplanes I used to fly.

Agreed its still compromised, but this is full of better technology, materials, less weight, updated powertrains. It's a night and day difference IMO.
