Default Jaguar E-Pace reviews

It just doesn't look as well put together as the F Pace.

Why the NX knock? Click bait? Lexus NX is doing better than ever and the 2018 refresh will only bolster that. That said, the E-Pace looks cute and will garner the trendy spotlight, affecting all competitors not just from Lexus.

I dislike the front end, but the rest of the exterior is nice, probably because it looks exactly like the F pace. Interior looks pretty cheap. Price of this starts at 38K in the US which is "only" 5K less than the F pace. Id rather shell out the additional money.

I'd rather save over 10k and buy a mazda cx5. I ain't shelling out that much for a compact fwd ute.

In all likelihood, the CX5 will be a better reliability bet....that's one area where you traditionally toss the dice with a Jaguar.

It's true that the NX is doing well, but I don't see the thread as a troll or click-bait. I think the OP was simply trying to show that the E-Pace is credible alternative to the NX.......though I agree that Jag's quality-control is not likely to be the equal of a Lexus product.

It's just a funny dig. What about the X1, GLA, and Q3 all of which the E-Pace competes with too? Compact premium cuv's.

Yeah, I agree that those vehicles come more readily to the tip of one's tongue. People tend to forget that Jag is still in business here in the U.S.

Agreed
A colleague of mine cross shopped the BMW X1-3 with the CX5 and found much more value with the fully optioned Mazda. I sat inside and it had a non pretentious luxury vibe to it.. I wouldn't take a chance on a Jaguar unless it was a no worry lease.

Just lease and dont buy and you wont have reliability issues. Well less to worry about at least.

I wouldnt call it clickbait. The NX, at the end of the day, isn't up to the usual Lexus standard in quality and refinement. And this being a Lexus forum and posting in a Lexus forum, the NX will naturally come to mind.

I hate to see comments like this being an NX owner. The NX may not compare to an LS but it is still a Lexus in it's own right. It's a fine vehicle one that I have enjoyed for last 2 1/2 years worry free. It certainly is just as Lexus as the last RX I owned. I'm certain the NX will outsell the E-pace tenfold or more. I would not even shop a Jaguar.

I received a mailing from Jaguar today. Beginning with the 2018 model year all Jags sold in the U.S.will have 5 year/60,000 mile warranty, scheduled maintenance, roadside assistance and InControl Remote and Protect (whatever that is). This might boost their volume a little but probably not to any great degree.

Yeah, same feeling here. I drove the '17 ES300h with the Lux package for 6 days and I PREFER my NX FSport better. I like to drive the NX better than my fairly new '15 GX460. So, people who KNOCK the NX are probably NEVER own the NX at all. The $40k vehicle is of course lower quality than the $60k vehicles.

As long as the popularity holds up there is more than eniugh room in the compact luxury CUV segment for the NX, E Pace and others.
