Seriously, that concept is whack. Looks worse than the original LFA. Toyota is never again going to build a car like the LFA. Maybe in 10 or 20 years they'll feel the need to build an exotic road legal car with mind numbing performance like the LFA, but it won't look like the LFA, and would most likely be a hybrid or electric vehicle of some sort.
Mind numbing performance at inception, then just average when released 10yrs later. A case of awesome product, but poor planning.

The horsepower wars have been insane, especially in the exotic car market. Of course a car released 8-9 years ago isn't going to be as fast as the latest turbocharged terrors out of Maranello and Woking. I'd still take an LFA over a new McLaren or Ferrari 488.

I'd also argue you don't need more than about 550hp anyways. Really wish the exotic car makers would focus on making their cars lighter, right now everything is around 3300-3400lbs, some cars are really fat like the Adventador at over 4000lbs. McLaren F1, the road version was around 2500lbs, the racing spec ones were even lighter.

Those sightings may be associated with the airbag/dash replacements

I think this has potential to become LFA's spiritual successor.

Looks hideous. And the concept is likely to sport a 3-Cylinder engine? Pass!

The LFA is Front-mid-engine, rear mid-transaxle, rear-wheel drive.
I could be wrong, but I was under the impression LFA stood for Lexus Fuji Apex, not Lexus Future... Has anyone else heard otherwise?

That is correct. I think you missed my post though, as I was answering what LF stands for (Lexus future) and its affixed to Lexus concepts. The second sentence explained the layout of the LFA. So two different topics.
