Lexus Test Driver
Went to the event in NY.
3 Parts
1. Dragrace - RC350 and IS350
2. Autocross - GSF and RCF
3. Autocross (timed) - LC500
They gave us 2 laps each and winner got a hat.
A few comments....
LC500 sounds WAY better and louder than GSF and RCF!
It looks really good in red. The burgundy interior is just hideous.
It is not as sharp as GSF or RCF in terms of handling, steering is looser - definitely setup more for luxury but the sound and looks make up for it.
I LOVED driving the RCF. I drove it before several times but got about 4-5 laps on the autocross they had setup.
TVD was is Slalom mode, everything else in Sprort S+.
A few criticisms....
- Drinks/snacks selections were cheap and almost embarrassing for a luxury brand. This is a far cry from Lexus events years ago. Also much worse than BMW event i attended this year.
- No display of Lexus cars or info on any Technologies/products.
- No chachkis for attending which is commonplace.
Overall very enjoyable event and the staff were all great.

Pole Position
I agree. In the past the food/snacks were way more impressive.
I did like the setup of the events and the instructors were very friendly. I was impressed by instructor Linda who set the LC autocross track time.
We were late for our scheduled time but they were able to put us with the next group. It was a lot of fun to abuse cars we didn't own.
