Anyone notice the Lexus lyric on the new Kendrick Lamar?
I haven't listened to the new Kendrick Lamar all that closely, but this post on the HP points out he drops Lexus in a lyric:
“At 27, my biggest fear was losin’ it all
Scared to spend money, had me sleepin’ from hall to hall
Scared to go back to Section 8 with my mama stressin’
30 shows a month and I still won’t buy me no Lexus”
It's pretty impressive if he's managed to have this kind of success and not even splurge on a car...

I was gonna ask the same thing. Reminds me of when I went into someone's office and they said, "Are you all about the bass?" I said excuse me? Then two guys laughed and said obviously you don't have teenage daughters. Nope, a 3 y.o. son.

Lexus got a shout out from Notorious and another time in a Lil Kim song.
LL Cool J drove an SC (I believe?) in the Loungin' video.
For whatever reason, I think Lexus had a lot more street cred with the hip hop community 15-20 yrs ago.
