"The spindle grille has become a calling card for the Lexus brand, immediately suggesting a greater elegance than the norm. At the same time, there's nothing outlandish about the Lexus."
i wouldn't call the grill elegant and as for outlandishness, just take a look at the new rx. that's a pretty outlandish vehicle.

This is a pretty weak article. I'd say Lexus has been focusing on "sport" much more than luxury in the last five years. The photo above is also pathetic and rice-racer.
If the brand wants to up it's luxury quotient, they need to offer wood steering wheels on all models, and get wood on the bottom of the center console around the gear shifter. The black plastic in that area is a focal point and downmarket.

How to nail luxury:
Matching green wheels.
Green tinted headlights.
Slammed
Aftermarket CF lip
Take a bad grainy photo with a potato in a Walmart parking lot
Stretch it for stylz cause low is fast
Wait... isn't this about Lexus nailing luxury? How did this heap make it to the photo gallery? Is that even a Lexus paint?

I was expecting pictures of the upcoming LS or LC interiors, something along that line to showcase Lexus' new luxury theme.
Rather than using that picture above to grab attention, why not something like this on the #4 list?
It seems like there's not much thought goes into these type of articles.

Not to discredit the owner of that IS, but when you mention "Luxury", the last thing I have on my mind is a lowered car, even though that is one great oem color
And I kinda disagree about #3 Lexus resilient paint work. Paintwork is nice, but chips too easily
