I've been buying cds recently, and a younger colleague has been busting on me. Why....cuz the LS430 has a 6 cd changer, and no aux or USB interface. But I have no problem with paying for music. a) the cd is not lossy like mp3s b) I try to get used in VG condition and dup them, use the dups in the car. contrary to the notion that everything is available for free, I don't think that is a true statement....

OK, I guess I'm not that old. I for one liked B.I.G., the video is hilarious with Puff Daddy where they seem to be going 100 mph in reverse, and I always remembered that line, "Escargot, my car go, 160, swiftly...."

LL Cool J, I couldn't name a single song of his, but I got a kick that someone broke into his house and he apprehended the perp with his bare hands (such bad luck for the criminal), and Lil Kim, again couldn't name a single tune, but remember her being mentioned in Meet the Parents by Ben Stiller....

I still buy music on vinyl, and I love that you almost always get the digital version for free. I also listen to KEXP pretty much all day, which is where I learn about new music. It's the best radio station ever. Also, after I posted this thread, the HP folks put together a list of rap songs which mention Lexus. It's pretty fun.

There's a country song that references Lexus also, Keith Anderson's XXL. He's not a person of color lol

every rapper in the 90s referenced Lexus GS and sometimes LS alot!! Jay - Z, Nas, and Mobb Deep were huge on that.

IMHO - his bars are on the level of Eminem, Nas, the best of the best, but I don't feel his overall music, reminds me of a much famous Canibus, bars were sick but music not so much
