So.....this happened today, Huracan got delivered today!
First let me say it was a pretty tough decision. After owning a few R8's with nothing but the gated 6-speed shifter and wearing I would never get a paddle shift car for a weekend today, I succumbed to this V10 Bull and I have to say it's a pretty cool ride. I had my heart set on a new NSX for many years waiting for the car to arrive and when it finally did, the car sadly did not check the right boxes for me. Exotics should instill emotions and make sounds that stand out from other cars. I had a chance to test drive the new NSX on the street (buddy lets me borrow his sometimes) and then I was at Sebring with the Pikes Peak hill climb NSX race car where I got to ride along doing hot laps with their factory driver James Robinson. I told my wife the hot laps with a pro driver was the highlight of the NSXPO event which was both eye opening and amazing. It's one thing to listen to an instructor but totally another thing to see a professional show you how to drive a fast car! Riding in the McLaren right before the NSX it really shows you how close these cars are. Both cars are amazing in their own right but when it finally came down to what car I wanted in the garage next to my other toys, it was either the Huracan or McLaren 650s because the NSX does engine note simply does not sound special. It's hard to argue with the Huracan's NA V10 motor behind your ears. I did also consider the LF-A but it's not an easy car to find in the perfect condition I wanted since colors / options are scarce so maybe next time...
So without getting too wordy here, I'll just post a few pictures.
Happy camper at NSXPO:
Got a chance to ride in this back to back with the new NSX Pikes peak car:
My R8 v10 in rare Suzuka Grey was a gated shifter along with the NSX which is a total keeper:
So this is what I ended up getting, will post a better review shortly and have a host of mods going on the car in time for Wekfest:

I think you made the right choice. Given your budget, the Huracan/650S is a much better choice for an enthusiast. Granted, NSX performs at the same level, but I am pretty damn sure that people won't ignore that V10 coming at you from the far side of the street!
First thing you need to do is a good spirited driving off the lot.

Lambo's the best looking car of the 3 and that V10 engine is absolutely savage. McLarens are awesome cars as well, but I just never have been able to warm up to the Joker face. Congrats.

Congratulations!
You need to re-write your post as it reads like the super amazing unreal hard to image how cool it is Huracan is a car to make excuses for picking (and I own an 2017 NSX).

Lexus Champion
Beautiful choice!
As for the NSX, I am starting to see them around. There's one in my work parking lot. Stunning car.

thanks guys for the kind words - I'm always humbled by some of the many cool builds you see here on this forum that shows real dedication. There's quite a few that come to mind but the VIP LS builds always catch my eye and would love to build one someday. I will always be part of the Lexus family as my wife loves this brand, even though she is not a performance gal.
The Huracan vs 2nd gen NSX debate is a tough once as both cars are great on it's own merits. I think the bottom line for me is when looking at cars in this category where you only drive it a few times per month or less, when I do drive it, the car must sound and feel special. The exhaust note on the V10 Huracan is near perfect. I'm not a big fan of turbos or superchargers and the associated headaches. I've had quite a few supercharged s2000's over the years and the headaches never ends. I prefer a simplicity over complexity which usually means reliable.
blacksc400: the yellow car was a Saleen kit car based on a Corvette. Very strange to see a Ford / Chevy love child but it was the other car sitting in the transport when they dropped off my ride. Thanks for the kind words, I'm very exited to own this Bull as it's really a unique car that stands out. Some cars like the new NSX looks great at certain angles but not so hot in others. The Huracan has really no bad angle as every body panel is shaped to be functional and aggressive at the same time.
The car is going to the vinyl shop for some work and then we have a bunch of new parts going on this car just in time for WekFest San Jose. If you guys are local please be sure to stop by our booth!
My first love will always still be the 1st gen NSX as I'm heavily involved in the community and we developed a lot of cool parts for the NSX. Now we are working on parts for the 2nd gen NSX. Perhaps when Acura releases the NSX Type-R we will revisit this car in the future.
here's a few random pictures in stock form, the car won't look like this for much longer as the interior is getting a Carbon Fiber really trick steering wheel and other interior bits and the exterior is getting a full CF aero kit.
Interior is my favorite part of this car:

LOL - it's not really excuses as I have great admiration and respect for the NSX. I think as a car guy, we can love multiple cars and don't have to be loyal to one particular brand. I've driven the new NSX many times as my buddy has one and it's a unique car in it's own right. How do you like your NC1 NSX?
