Default I want to see a LX/LC/GX through this...

So I've made a few posts referring to Jalopnik and Doug Demuro (as some of you may have either) - I found his new video from his new #Dougcar very entertaining.

Doug took a new Landcruiser offroading about 2 years ago, while I suspect the 20/21 inch LX rims would do the LX in, I know some LX owners change the rims to 18's so the LX can be in its "element". I don't think a LC or GX....nor a 4Runner would have any significant issues on a trail like this.

Nonetheless a fun 11 minute video, the RR Sport handled admirably and this was a good intro to the F150 raptor as well.

I saw this, I love Doug on youtube, he's my favorite man-child lol. I'm also really surprised that the Defender 90 is that damn expensive. I know a car has to be over 25 years old to legally import, so if you want the newest one, your only option is an overpriced US spec one like Doug's. I figured though that the 1980's/early 90's model Defenders are almost identical to Doug's and can be bought for less than $10,000 in great condition over in Europe, Africa, etc. Figured that market would drive the price down on US spec Defenders.

these "off road" 'courses' are so contrived... ooh, let's go through a shallow puddle, or some mud or rocks strategically set up so the owner or test driver or press is impressed...

Whoever owns that RR Sport is gonna be in a world of hurt when they see the condition of their wheels and paint. Not worth getting such an expensive car all scratched up imo.

I would rather own any of those vehicles that the useless Defender. A Land Cruiser 70 would do well on this trail. As for the LX videos, still a nice truck that really isnt meant for off road these days.

I think the Defender is an awesome truck, but nowhere near $70,000 worth of awesome. Same thing with some of the prices people are asking for restored FJ40 Land Cruisers and Ford Broncos now days, no way are they worth 40, 50k, I don't care how nice the restoration is.
