The RLX is outsold by entry level luxury hybrids like the ES450h, MKZ, Q50 etc etc but it has outsold its competition in the mid-level luxury sedan segment. Here are the #s for 2016 (it is a very very very small segment):

The RXh has a loyal following, but seeing as the MDX is probably single handily supporting Acura with its sales volume the MDX hybrid will elevate that game. 7 seats and hybrid for only $1500 more then a gasoline counterpart... Whens the RX-L launching cause Honda's gonna be taking Toyota's lunch money until then
