That interior is perfect for a jeep wrangler type of vehicle.

The integrated rim and tire looks pretty cool actually. I wasn't a huge fan of the reveal, but those Autoblog shots make the car look more interesting and attractive despite some of the discordant lines.

Default A Closer Look at the Lexus UX Crossover Concept Wheel Design

One of the standout features of the Lexus UX crossover concept is the wheel design — created in collaboration with Goodyear, the integrated tire and rim combine into an incredibly detailed package:

Goodyear also used the opportunity to showcase some emerging tire tech — there’s Sound Comfort Technology with polyurethane foam on the inner tire wall to dampen cabin noise, along with chip-in-tire technology that sends tire pressure & temperature information to the car computer in order to improve handling & stability.

It's like it has multiple personalities as it wants to, be a sedan + be a wagon (dare I say - Shooting Brake) + be a CUV + be a Venza + be a Lexus?

The LF-CC wasn't made and that thing was pretty brilliant.

UX is rugged cool in it's own way. I don't know what distance future's definition of luxury they're targeting but I don't really see much luxury but the rear seating looks spacious.
Well, the RC did draw some design cues from the LF-CC.

The UX Concept was on the floor of Intersect by Lexus in Tokyo.

There was a meeting of designers and corporate people; Big Shots I suppose. They spoke in Japanese ,and I had no clue what the meeting was about. They popped open the hood, with computers in it; no engine. Couldn't take pics of the engine bay during their meeting because that would be too intrusive.

I tooks some pics:

Default New UX Concept

I think this might be one of the rare cases where toning down the styling might be actually good, thought I do like some of the lines. More pics on the HP.

That thing is hideous. Looks like a Lexus version of the Isuzu Vehicross. Are they really going to put that into production?

This will likely be way toned down before it hits production, to the point where it might well be unrecognizable. The more I look at it? The more I think of the anger-powered car the Onion wrote about years ago.
