The SC300/400 is a no-brainer. Timelessly beautiful car that can actually be upgraded with some of the latest technology.

love the lines on it

The SC is already a classic/collector. This article is behind. Also, they should be showing pics of stock cars, not altered ones.

If the 1st gen SC is a "collector's car", the price of the car sure doesn't reflect it. I'm sure if they offered the 1JZ-GTE on US spec models those cars would be worth a good bit now days, as all the twin turbo Japanese terrors are worth a good bit of $$$ now days.

Agreed re: the pricing, but then again the article is entitled "Future Classics", not "Current Collectors Cars".

The subtitle is "Few used Lexus models bring big bucks these days, but these five have all the makings of future classics."
