Yes to this. Have you seen the rear of the 2016 Civic hatchback? It's appalling. Just what is going on over there?

They used to make such good looking cars.
Yeah the Civic hatch is just awful, both in its proportions and the detailing with that black plastic crap. I was hoping for something more along the lines of the "eg" mid 90's Civic hatch, with real windows behind the rear seat.

I don't know, maybe you should make your own thread.

Don't get your feelings hurt- you just posted something completely off-topic in a thread about Acura, hence why I said perhaps you should go create a thread to answer your question. Not sure how quoting my OP refutes that.

I have to admit that I criticized the Acura shield some years ago. But that was before I came to appreciate the purpose of the Audi Singleframe grille, the Acura shield and the Lexus spindle grille, among other provocative grille designs. The purpose is branding and identification.

I now wish that Acura had stayed with the shield and refined it, as Audi is continuing to refine the Singleframe, as Lexus continues to refine the spindle, as BMW continues to refine the twin kidney over 80 years, and Mercedes-Benz continues to refine its grille over 100 years.

I find it ironic that Acura is giving up the shield, even as Honda picks up its own version of the shield.

Super Acura!!!! LOL that was the first thing that came to my mind.

Now with this Acura logo being so huge, I could see Flava-Flav rocking one on his chain instead of the clock lol. I think both the new grill and the rapper have about the same level of taste.

acura's new grille looks retarded. I mean it looks like it has a low IQ.

If the new NSX had this superman grille, it would look ugly AF

even hyundai's grille is better integrated

I like that but the A is a bit too big and I think the headlights should angle down as they meet the grille.

I agree. To me, the headlights do not look well-integrated into the front end.

Hot damn. Love love love the NSX. If only the rest of the Acura model line up would follow that style.
