Most newer Toyotas do. I can't say I disagree. Either that, or an English Bulldog.

This is too funny and a coincidence. I was reading that issue of C&D just today while on jury duty and chuckled to myself when I read it. A good visual.

Default Gs350

Perhaps another $30K comparison is a 2014/2015 GS350 where leather, power, and all kinds of nice appointments and most importantly Nav come standard? Which would you rather have, used GS or 2018 Camry?

There's nothing like having a brand-new car.

fair point. But I would rather have new every time. I do understand that not everyone is so fortunate to have that choice.

Well, used cars also depreciate, depending on how long you keep them.....though, in general, the depreciation-curve starts to flatten out in the third year, and is close to prefectly-flat by the tenth. But new cars cost more for a reason. They are, in most cases, simply better and less of a risk. CPOs, of course, lessen the risk....but also cost more as a result.

which is why I mentioned CPO GS, but perhaps a fairer comparison would then be a CPO 2018 Camry in 2019/2020

Well, with the depressed way that sedans are selling nowadays (even the former super-popular Camry and Accord sales are down), you might just find some still-new 2018 Camrys on the lot next year with no miles on them...technically new cars, though I'm not sure I'd want something that's been sitting on the lot for a number of months. In fact, that was one of the problems I recently ran into myself when I was shopping for a new Lacrosse.
